These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of journeywheels.online (the “Website”), including the Road Trip Route & Itinerary Planner (the “Planner”) and any related content and features (together, the “Service”). The Service is operated by JourneyWheels (“JourneyWheels”, “we”, “us”, or “our”).

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

These Terms should be read together with our Privacy Policy, Cookie Policy, and Disclaimer, which also apply to your use of the Service.

2. Description of services

JourneyWheels is a travel-planning website that helps people organize road trips. The Planner lets you enter trip details and produces planning estimates, which may include:

• Route distance and estimated driving time
• A daily driving breakdown and suggested rest stops
• Estimated fuel or energy use and cost
• Estimated trip costs based on budgets you enter
• A day-by-day itinerary you can print, copy, or download

The Service is provided for general information and planning purposes only. It is not a navigation system, a booking service, or a source of live traffic, weather, road condition, or price information, unless and only to the extent that the Website clearly states otherwise.

3. Use of the website

You may use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial trip planning, in line with these Terms and applicable law. No account is required to use the Planner.

You may print, copy, download, and share itineraries you create with the Planner for your personal use, including with the people you are travelling with.

We may restrict, suspend, or end access to the Service, or any part of it, if we reasonably believe it is being used in breach of these Terms or in a way that could harm the Service, other users, or third parties.

4. User responsibilities

When using the Service, you are responsible for:

• Entering accurate information, such as places, distances, vehicle efficiency, fuel prices, and budgets. Results depend on what you enter.
• Independently verifying routes, distances, travel times, road conditions, closures, weather, fuel availability, accommodation, and prices before and during your trip.
• Following all traffic laws, local regulations, and official travel advisories.
• Making sure you and your vehicle are fit, legally permitted, and properly equipped for the journey.
• Taking regular rest breaks and never driving while tired, impaired, or distracted, regardless of any plan produced by the Service.
• Not relying on the Service while driving. Please plan before you set off, or have a passenger check information safely.
• Your own travel decisions and their consequences.

5. Estimates and calculations

All figures produced by the Service are estimates intended to help you plan. They are based on simple calculations, general assumptions, and the information you provide. The methods used are explained on the Planner page.

Estimates are not quotes, offers, or guarantees of any distance, time, cost, or outcome.

6. Accuracy of route and travel information

We try to keep the information and tools on the Website useful and accurate, but we do not guarantee that any route, distance, place, stop, travel time, or other travel information is complete, accurate, current, or suitable for your needs.

Suggested stops indicate approximate points along a day’s drive. They are not verified locations, and we do not confirm that fuel, food, accommodation, parking, or other services are available at or near them.

Routes and places shown or estimated by the Service may not reflect the safest, fastest, or legally permitted route for your vehicle. Always follow road signs, official guidance, and instructions from authorities.

7. No guarantee of availability or conditions

We do not guarantee the availability, condition, opening hours, pricing, or safety of any road, pass, border crossing, fuel station, charging point, accommodation, restaurant, attraction, or other place or service mentioned on or suggested by the Service.

We also do not guarantee that the Website or the Planner will always be available, uninterrupted, or free from errors. The Service may be unavailable at times for maintenance, updates, or reasons beyond our control.

8. Third-party services and links

The Service may include or rely on third-party services, if enabled, such as hosting, form handling, routing or mapping, analytics, or advertising. The Website may also link to third-party websites.

We do not control and are not responsible for third-party services, websites, content, products, or practices. Your use of them is at your own risk and may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies. A link or advertisement does not mean we endorse the third party or what it offers.

9. Intellectual property

The Website and its content, including text, design, graphics, illustrations, the JourneyWheels name and logo, and the Planner’s code and layout, are owned by or licensed to JourneyWheels and are protected by intellectual property laws.

Except as allowed in these Terms or by law, you may not copy, reproduce, modify, distribute, republish, or create derivative works from the Website or its content without our prior written permission.

Itineraries you generate from your own trip details are yours to use for personal purposes, as described in Section 3.

If you send us feedback or suggestions, you allow us to use them to improve the Service without any obligation to you.

10. Prohibited uses

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any unlawful, harmful, fraudulent, or misleading purpose
• Interfere with, disrupt, overload, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Website, its servers, or related systems
• Introduce viruses, malicious code, or other harmful material
• Use bots, scrapers, or other automated tools to access, copy, or extract content or data from the Website in bulk without our permission
• Copy, resell, or commercially exploit the Service or its content without our written permission

12. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, JourneyWheels and its operators will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss of money, time, bookings, data, or enjoyment, arising from or related to your use of, or inability to use, the Service or any reliance on estimates or information provided by it.

This includes losses resulting from inaccurate estimates, route choices, delays, closures, weather, changes in prices, vehicle problems, missed reservations, or travel decisions made using the Service.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, where such exclusion is not permitted. Your rights as a consumer under mandatory local laws are not affected.

13. Changes to the service

We may change, update, add to, suspend, or remove any part of the Service at any time, including features, calculations, place lists, and content. This may happen, for example, to improve accuracy, connect or disconnect third-party services, or address technical or legal needs.

We are not obliged to keep any particular feature available, and we are not liable to you for any change, suspension, or discontinuation of the Service.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the Effective Date at the top of this page. If changes are significant, we may also provide a more visible notice on the Website.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the operator of JourneyWheels is established, without regard to its conflict of law rules.
